Our Story

Life moves fast. Sometimes, we forget to feel it.

The story behind Happy Spirit, and why we believe in making space to pause.

I’ve always been curious about people, experiences and what makes life meaningful.

For years, my professional life took me through different industries: sales, technology, startups, corporate account management and entertainment.

I’ve always loved the energy of that world. Meeting people. Connecting opportunities. Creating something from an idea.

But alongside it, there was another part of me that had always been there: my connection to spirituality, self-discovery and the deeper questions we sometimes leave unanswered when life gets busy.

I studied psychology-related subjects, completed yoga training in 2022 and kept exploring movement, breathing and mindful living.

For a long time, these two worlds seemed separate. Eventually, I understood that I didn’t have to choose between them.

I could bring them together.

Today, living in Sri Lanka, teaching yoga, exploring breathwork and continuing to learn, I’m building Happy Spirit around that idea.

I don’t believe meaningful living requires giving up everything you’ve built. Sometimes, it simply means creating enough space to remember what matters to you.

That’s the beginning of Happy Spirit.

What we practice

Five simple ideas guide every session.

  • Mindfulness

Paying attention to the present moment, gently and without judgment.

  • Conscious movement

Moving with awareness, listening to the body instead of pushing it.

  • Breathing

Using the breath as an anchor to slow down and feel more grounded.

  • Gratitude

Noticing what is already good, and giving it space.

  • Reconnection

Coming back to yourself, your body and what truly matters to you.

This isn’t about leaving your life behind. It’s about feeling more present in it.
