Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
At Happy Spirit, discretion is the foundation of the service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
Who is responsible
Madeleine Padilla Soto, founder of Happy Spirit. Contact: hellomadeleinepadilla@gmail.com.
What we collect
- What you enter in the retreats form: name, email, preferred language and, if you wish, a message.
- What is needed to book and pay for a session: email and payment details. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see them.
- Aggregated website usage data (pages visited, how visitors arrive) through Google Analytics.
How we use it
- To arrange your sessions and reply to you.
- To tell you about retreats if you ask us to.
- To process payments and meet legal obligations.
- To improve the website. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
Legal basis
Your consent (when you send a form), performance of a contract when you book a session, and legal obligations.
Sessions
Sessions are not recorded. What you share stays private, unless there is a serious risk to your life or someone else’s, or a legal obligation.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run the website and bookings: Vercel (hosting), FormSubmit (form delivery), Google (email, video calls and Analytics) and Stripe (payments). Some are based in the United States and apply their own data-protection safeguards.
How long we keep it
For as long as we work together and, afterwards, as long as required by law. If you ask to hear about retreats, we keep your details until you ask us to stop, and for no more than 24 months.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time by writing to hellomadeleinepadilla@gmail.com. EU and UK residents can also complain to their data-protection authority. California residents have the rights provided by the CCPA.
